Pellet Deicer pellets are a blend of calcium, sodium, potassium, and strontium chloride that generate exothermic heat to power through and dissolve ice and snow. They are non-corrosive, will not leave a residue, and will prevent the refreezing of snow and water. Effective to -40F.
